Chapter 9: Part 3 of ?

In addition to the chapters I need to work on thinking out a good title in place of "mystery short story". I'll save that for next time.

So we know basically how chapter 9 ends. The player character runs off and enters the old house, followed shortly by Molas. Maybe that will be some sort of cut scene. Also I was thinking the module would do a simple test to see if the player had racked up more good or evil points and irregardless of the way the player picks end with "you are truly an evil character" or "you are truly a good character" depending on how they played.

And I also wanted to control how the player ends up at this meeting resulting in the debate. Either the player is evil, deciding the fate of all the people everywhere selfishly, or the player is good and great, proclaimed to be the one who should decide because he deserves such a duty.

I will work on that later. For now I need a real start to this chapter. See this is the whole problem with writing backwards, the beginning of every chapter has to have something to do with the ending of the last chapter. So I'll just declare chapter 8 the end-of-fighting chapter. With that in mind lets say Dubois/player character is on the side who was against the city of Towz. He and sidekick Molas enter through a smoldering gate. The city had been under siege, and yet didn't look that bad.

Ok, I have no idea how to make a cityscape look like it had just been under siege and yet surprisingly "not that bad". I’ll have to do research and figure that all out.

Now then, the city itself will be split into 4 sections, the player character and Molas entering from the north gate. This will be a safe section of the city, including shops and NPCs to talk to.

To be continued...
