Now, on with the story.
Dubois and Molas enter the ruined city of Towz. All around the city appears to be in ruins, the once great gate to the northern entrance still hanging by a hinge. Yet there is something different about the way this city looks. The city doesn't look as bad as Dubois expected a city under such siege would look.
Instead the city looks as though someone has just been through to clean it up. Almost like the city was slowly healing itself. As Dubois looked around he noticed citizens seemed unaware of this, or at least took such a status for granted.
Dubois started to turn to Molas to ask about the citizens as Molas interjected. "Yes", he said "the population of the city are one with it and do not notice the city is puting itself back together.".
"Just how do you know this, Molas?" Dubois asked but was waved off by Molas.
"Let us get some supplies from this store and some food from that Inn."
"They don't consider us the enemy?" asked Dubois.
"No, they are never changing and will not know the difference. We are in no danger." replied Molas.
The two of them started to walk towards the provisions shop. Once inside Molas bought a new broad sword and a mace while Dubois admired some new armor but didn't buy any.
Finally the two of them went next door to the Inn for some food and ale and to get some much deserved rest.
***
The next day Dubois and Molas set off south toward the center of the city. The city looked even more indescribly healed or better than it had the evening before. Such sights around him gave Dubois an uneasy feeling.
Finally Molas and Dubois arrived at the entrance of the center of the city.
Guess I'll have to finish this at a later date.
